The U21 hurlers put in a fine performance against Whitegate in the U21B championship on Saturday in Bodyke. They won by a single goal in a tight game that was level ten minutes to go. The final result could have been a draw only for Clooney Quins Darragh Ryan pulled off a heroic penalty save in the dying minutes. They will play Broadford in the next round Saturday March 16th at 11:30 in Shannon.
