Well done to our u14 girls on reaching the u14 b Championship Cup Semi final vs. Tulla/Bodyke on May 13th 2015. The girls played 7 matches in their group, winning 4 matches, had 1 draw (Tulla/ Bodyke) and 2 narrow defeats during the championship to reach the Cup semi final. They had also played in Feile 2015 and Community games qualifiers and won the Eire Og sponsored Francie Mahon Tournament leading up to the Cup Semi final with their neighbours Tulla/ Bodyke. Tulla/Bodyke eventually went on to win the semi final on a score line of 6-2 to 1-2. However, this final score line did not justify the hard work, determination, skill and team play displayed by the girls on the evening in Tulla.
A great performance by all the girls. We will finish up our exciting u14 season with a bus trip to Duniry, Co Galway on June 13th 2015 to take on Davitts u14 camogie club in a challenge match, followed by a picnic in the scenic surrounds of Portumna Forest Park.
