Wednesday evening saw an end to the U14 Championship for CLooney-Quin. The girls lost out to Clarecastle who on the night got of to a flying start. Clooney-Quin were always chasing the game from here but fought back well the girls did. The team that is very mush a mix of ages accounted very well for themselves over the championship and were always competitive in games, never losing out buy more than the two goal mark, except for one game against St. Josephs.
The girls trained and worked very hard throughout the championship and with the skill development to the fore the girls have really come on.
Some now will revert to the U12 campgain while the older girls will move on to the U15 league.
The girls have shown great enthusiasm for the game and were a pleasure to work with.
