Congratulations to Clooney Quins U13 football team on winning the B final of the football Garda tournament in Cusack Park last Friday. The defeated St Josepgs Doora Barefield in a comprehensive team performance. The cup was presented to Clooney Quin captain Jack O’Neill. The U13 hurlers were also in action at the weekend with the A team winning away to Cratloe in round four on Saturday morning and the Bnos team winning their first game at home to Kilmaley. The A team will play Ballyea on Monday in Clooney at 6:20pm in the next round and the shield team will play Inagh Kilnamona on Sunday at 10am in Inagh.
