Thank you to Newmarket on Fergus for hosting the U-8s ladies football blitz Sunday morning. We had fantastic numbers that turned out for the event, enough to put forward two teams. Both teams had two great games, against the hosts and Wolfe Tones respectively. Our girls showed great heart and it was very clear that the training each Sunday morning is very much paying off. There were lots of proud Mammy’s and Daddy’s leaving Newmarket Sunday morning, and the future of ladies football is very bright indeed. Thanks to coaches Pat Gardiner, Annemarie O’Looney, Eileen Kelly, James Madigan and Sinead Gardiner Administration, for all their great work.
