The senior hurlers are out against O’Callaghans Mills this Saturday evening in Clooney at 7pm ( Referee Fergal Gray). They have dusted off last weekends disappointments and will be targeting a win at home on Saturday evening.
Against Newmarket last weekend in the first round of the Senior Championship it was Clooney Quin that made the better start with points from Peter Duggan, Ryan Taylor, Cillian Duggan and Cillian got the first goal of the game on the 9th minute. Clooney Quin were one point up at half time but Newmarket started the second half the better of the two teams. In the end 3 points separated the teams.
