The senior girls lined out against Sixmilebridge last Sunday, September 20th at 3pm in Clarecastle. This was a must win game for both sides as the winner would secure a place in the semi final. The Clooney Quin girls set about their business in a very professional manner though they did not get the first score of the game it was the only time Sixmilebridge went ahead in the game.
This was very much a team performance with scores coming from Mary Clune, Jessica O’Neill, Aoibheann Duggan, Orlaith Duggan, Deirdre Murphy and Aisling Corbett.

Clooney Quin will now play Newmarket -on-Fergus in the semi final. This is a repeat of last years semi final pairing where our girls game out on top to book a place in the senior final. This will hopefully be repeated again this year. This semi final game will take place on October 4th.
