The Junior A football team narrowly lost out to Meelick in the Junior A Quarter Final last Saturday. There was a late change to this fixture as it was moved from Shannon to Corrofin due to pitch conditions in Shannon. There was a sizeable gap between the teams at half time and Clooney Quin lost Adrian Flemming after a few minutes but was replaced by Shane Mc Mahon who won every ball that came his way in the first half. Fergal Lynch was introduced at half time in replace for Aidan Daffy and it was Sennan Larkin who got Clooney Quin’s only goal within a minute of coming on for Fergal Coughlan.
