The Clooney/Quin GAA Club Race Night brought a huge local crowd to the excellent Limerick Greyhound Stadium on Friday night, last. For many, it was a first taste of the excitement associated with Greyhound racing, and it seems to have left a positive effect on those that made the short trip across the Shannon. There were a number of local Trainers and Owners who entered dogs for the nights programme, with Lago Puelo, owned by the Kilroy Family, of whom Evan acts as Coach to the Clooney/Quin Under 21 and Senior sides, winning Race 4. This dog was trained by local Trainer, Donal Duggan. Overall, the event was a huge success, with the GAA Club very grateful for the support received by local businesses and supporters. Míle Buíochas!
