The Clooney Quin U10 ladies football team travelled the short journey to Newmarket last Sunday afternoon to participate in a series of challenge matches against their Newmarket counterparts. Such were the numbers available that two teams from Clooney took part in the games. The Red & Green teams didn’t fail to impress their travelling support. Brilliant performances by the Clooney girls showed just how much these girls have learned throughout the year and their displays prove that the talent is coming through.
Huge thanks this year to Martha Deegan for all her organisation and management, to their trainers Sean Devane & Joe Brennan for their commitment and work with this panel of players, also supported by Liam Clohessy and Ed Manely.
